Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026 — the German-language Datenschutzerklärung is the legally authoritative version.

1. Controller

The controller within the meaning of the GDPR is:
CRS Aviation GmbH, Steilhofweg 2, 83435 Bad Reichenhall, Germany, represented by Dr. Alexander Wurdack.
Email: info@crs-aviation.com

2. General Information on Data Processing

We process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and our content and services. The legal bases are primarily Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract / pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

3. Hosting and Server Log Files

This website is hosted with Hostinger. When you visit the site, the hosting provider automatically collects information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits: IP address, date and time of the request, browser type and version, operating system, and referrer URL. This data is not combined with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and security of our website).

4. No External Fonts

This website uses only your device's own system fonts. No fonts are loaded from external servers (such as Google Fonts). Accordingly, visiting this website does not create a connection to Google's servers for this purpose, and no IP address is transmitted to Google.

5. Contact Form

If you send us an enquiry via the contact form, the details you provide (name, email address, company if given, phone number, aircraft family, message) are processed by us to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measure) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry).

For technical transmission we use the third-party service FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which receives the form data and forwards it to us by email.

Important note: Based on publicly available information, FormSubmit does not currently publish a Data Processing Agreement (DPA, Art. 28 GDPR) or details of its exact server location. When you submit the form, your data is therefore transmitted to this external service, whose precise place of processing is not fully known to us. Please do not submit particularly sensitive data via the form. Alternatively, you can always contact us directly by email at info@crs-aviation.com.

Data entered in the contact form remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing it no longer applies. Mandatory statutory retention periods (in particular under commercial and tax law) remain unaffected.

6. Cookies

This website currently does not use cookies for analytics, marketing, or tracking purposes. As no non-essential cookies are used, no cookie consent banner is displayed.

7. SSL/TLS Encryption

For security reasons, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption for transmitting confidential content. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of your browser changes from "http://" to "https://".

8. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under applicable law, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin, recipients, and the purpose of processing, as well as a right to rectification, restriction, or erasure of this data (Art. 15–18 GDPR), a right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and a right to object to processing on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). Please contact us using the address given above.

9. Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding our processing of your personal data. The competent authority is:

Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA)
Promenade 18
91522 Ansbach, Germany
Phone: +49 (0)981 180093-0
Email: poststelle@lda.bayern.de

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements, or to reflect changes to our services.
